Please bear with us - the pictures here are not professionally taken and the cattle are not cleaned, fluffed or brushed. These are pictures taken in the field or corral by a rank amateur, me. While we would love to take all our pictures when the grass is green and lush, that is not always possible. And, if the grass is green, the bulls are sure to be muddy.
Many of these bulls are from genetics recently imported from Australia, capitalizing on the progress Australian has made to ensure commercially desirable beef cattle. These new genetics bring the potential of rapid improvement to American Murray Greys and to cross breeding programs.
We have recently added some weanling bulls due to the fact that some breeders prefer to get first pick of new genetics and to develop the bull to breeding age themselves. We have found that our Murray Grey bulls semen test just fine before they turn a year.
