The Murray Grey breed has been established, in relatively small numbers, in North American since the 1970's when bulls and semen were imported from Australia. If you trace the lineage of the Eagles Run Cows, all of them link back in the distant past to some of the orginal importations from Australia. However, in the last 30-40 years, some quality Murray Grey genetics have been produced in Canada and the US.
The picture at right is WCC Freightliner, the 2002 Canadian Champion Murray Grey bull, extensively used in our breeding program. This bull has excellent milk and growth EPDs and has produced exceptional female progeny.
On these pages, we show pictures of many of the North American bulls we have used naturally and through artifical insemination on our herd. Many of our cows and calves are sired by one of these bulls as are animals, semen and embryos listed for sale.
