The Murray Grey breed celebrated its 100th aniversary in 2005 having originated in Australia's Murray Valley on the New South Wales/Victorian border. The breed has spread from Australia to New Zealand, Asia, North and South America, and Europe.

For the herdsman, these cattle are ideal; easy keepers, versatile beef cattle who are superior converters of feed (either grass or grain). A hallmark of the breed is its quiet, docile temperament, making the handling of these cattle - including the bulls - a safe and satisfying experience. We call them EASY CALVING, EASY GOING.
